I can tell you this will be very different from what we have now.
It will be a brand new contract. A form of digital gold deposits, and the project is looking very promising.
When we launch the new token, you will be able to migrate your V1 tokens to V2 tokens based on the value per token. You can check the value of your token by looking at Pancakeswap exchange.
Price of MetaGold might go up more, as we get closer to migration, and trading will eventually be turned off, so if you don’t want to migrate, you have until Feb to sell, otherwise trading will be turned off, and you will be force to migrate to MetaGold 2.0

We have made an important decision about the migration of metagold to metagold 3.0.
We’ve decided to delay the launch.
The reason is because we are officially a bear market right now, and launching projects during this time doesn’t really work.
Advertising doesn’t work.
The chance of a failed launch is too high.
However, we are still committed to launch once bitcoin has a confirmed bottom.
For that to happen, we need inflation to start going down from it’s peak (now at 9.1%)
Here is the proposal for MetaGold 3.0

We will re-design the website, and re-launch as MetaGold 3.0 (potentially MetaGold Financial).

However, if you plan to hold, you will be able to recover your initial investment you made in MetaGold minus what you sold. Announcement about MetaGold 3.0 is coming soon.
