🔧 Scheduled Maintenance 🔧
🛠 On Wednesday, February 9th - The MeowSwap app will be unavailable for approximately two hours; starting from 08:00 UTC with service resuming at approximately 10:00 UTC.
💪 The MeowSwap team will be implementing some improvements to the L2 infrastructure of the DEX - these improvements are foundational and will allow greater functionality, security and last but not least; transaction speed.
💥 Another key aspect is that we will enable community-run multi-signature nodes during this maintenance window. This will make it possible for community members to run their own multisig nodes. More details on how to deploy your own node will follow shortly.
💯 We will always strive to achieve the best results for you; our community. This means improving the MeowSwap platform whenever the opportunity arises.

👀 Some of the eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed a glitch on the chart of our MEOW/ADA pair - although only a minor bug, when it involves the chart that you rely on to judge the value of your investment we want to be as transparent as possible.
❕ For a brief period the MEOW/ADA pair on our DEX read zero value - we want to take this opportunity to make clear that this was a simple front-end bug and all funds are SAFU as usual as seen in the cardanoscan link below

📌 Ensuring the security, quality and reliability of our systems is at the heart of our mission here at MeowSwap. In order to make sure your funds are safe, we commissioned two third-party auditing companies to attempt every method they could think of to attack our systems and report back their findings.
🎉 The TL;DR? - Even with the firewall and IP whitelisting turned off to give them a fighting chance; the simulated adversaries could not gain meaningful access or cause any harm to MeowSwap’s systems - It turns out cats are hard to pin down.... and that they like to keep your funds safe 😺

💥 We are pleased to announce our collaboration with @themetahash to pursue strategic opportunities for cross-chain interoperability within the #Cardano ecosystem.
MetaHash enables the creation of decentralized applications (#dApps) that work in real time like ordinary web 2.0 services and applications, powers independent sub-chains protected by the main MetaHash network, and host digital assets in the form of tokens in the MetaHash network.

📌 MeowSwap has developed and demonstrated it's novel solution to the concurrency challenge, and tested 42 simultaneous SWAP transactions that occurred within one block.
🧶 We expand on our initial rollout, in which only one TX per block was achievable, with our Layer-2 (L2) solution. The direct execution of transactions in L2 will be possible in our future feature updates making the throughput/concurrency problem non existent for MeowSwap.
🧶 MeowSwap is almost ready to increase the amount of pairs available through our solution, and we have other developments in the pipeline to ensure that transaction throughput never becomes a bottleneck to MeowSwap's growth.
