Proposal #26: Voting Power Changes to Gen0 Heroes and Land has passed, with the 1000 VP per Gen0 / 5000 per Land option receiving 7.4M VOTES (71.92% of the vote).

As such, we have implemented the changes to the Hero contract to support tracking the Gen 0 heroes separately for the purposes of voting power.

This change has now been rolled out, and new Snapshot.org strategies have been implemented that use the new methods. In short, we are ready to now test the new voting system.

A new test vote has just been pushed live, so please cast your votes if you would like to check that your voting power is correct.

Good release day, Kingdom!

We're excited to be officially releasing our new in-game voting system. Check out the details below!

In-game Voting System
This new system will pull in any active DFK-related proposals from vote.defikingdoms.com into the game interface and allow users to vote on them directly. When there are active votes, a badge will show up in the bottom right corner and prompt you to view and vote. Read through the proposals, weigh the options, and apply your votes. All previous proposals and results can be viewed by visiting the Envoy in the Castle. Now get out there and make yourself heard!

NOTE: If you use a Halliday wallet, please visit the Jeweler to delegate your c/sJEWEL power to a non-Halliday wallet. You will also need to move your Heroes if you want to utilize their voting power, which you can do in groups with the Barkeep in the Tavern.

THESE STEPS MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO THE VOTE OPENING

Proposals
Our first proposal is to determine whether there should be a weighting change to the Voting Power (VP) of Gen0 Heroes and Lands. Currently, all Heroes have 10 Voting Power each and Lands have 100 Voting Power each. If adopted, the proposal would split the Voting Power of Gen0 Heroes from all other Heroes, the latter of which would remain at 10 VP.

The options for this vote are as follows:
A. Gen0: 1000 VP & Land: 5000 VP
B. Gen0: 500 VP & Land: 2500 VP
C. Gen0: 100 VP & Land: 500 VP
D. No change (Gen0: 10 VP, Land: 100 VP)

This proposal will go live for a vote on Saturday, June 1st, at 8pm EDT. It will be open for 72 hours.

Following the conclusion of that vote and after any applicable changes are made, we will then open the votes for Summoning Cooldowns and the revamped Rafflemaster. We will announce the date and time of those votes beforehand to give preparation time.

We hope that this new system will promote healthy participation in voting and dialogue and look forward to these upcoming proposals. Thanks again for being such a great community! Godspeed and good voting!

Couple updates from things mentioned in this weeks AMA:

Good release day, Kingdom!

We've got an exciting grab-bag of features coming your way, from quality of life improvements to a brand new combat-ready class to take for a spin. So buckle up!

Berserker Class
Just like that, before you could even fully comprehend the Seer's space-and-time-bending powers, we have another new fighter ready to join the battle! Fair warning to our beat-back boars and bocs: the Berserker has arrived and brought with them an absolute metric shit-ton of pent up rage (spoilers: their rage cannot be contained). The slightest provocation can send them into a blind fury, unleashing an uncontrollable hurricane of axes and fists in every direction. So get your blood pumping and your axes ready!

Quest Queue Improvements
The Quest Queue system has been a fantastic step forward in managing questing Heroes quickly and consistently. Today, we have a few additional quality of life improvements to make that experience even smoother:
Quest Summary: The Quest Reward modal has been split into two tabs: the first "Summary" tab shows aggregated quest item rewards and a Hero Level-Up Summary (any Heroes that have just reached max XP). The second tab is the usual full rewards & Hero info broken down by quest.
Edit Heroes: A new "Edit" button opens the HeroHub and allows you to swap out the Heroes that you have selected for an already-queued quest. No more deleting and re-creating quests just to make a minor change!
Group Stamina Potions: A new "Use Stamina Potion" button will appear on any quest where all of the Heroes don't have enough stamina yet to start the quest. The button will indicate how many Heroes will have a potion applied, distinguishing between those that need it and those that don't.
Skill 10 Upgrade: If all Heroes in a quest are eligible for the Skill 10 Quest of the same type, but the quest is still a Skill 0 Quest, a new button will upgrade the quest from Skill 0 to Skill 10 in one click.
QuickFix Buttons: A handful of buttons will remove unavailable Heroes from a Quest to avoid broken states and unusable quests. These include buttons to remove "Bridged" Heroes, "Already Queued" Heroes, and "Already Questing" Heroes.
Updated Hero Info Tooltip: Clicking on a Hero Portrait in the Quest Queue, Active Quests, Quest Rewards, and Active Hunts modals will bring up an expanded Hero Tooltip that gives class/subclass, level, stamina (including future stamina for queued Heroes), and XP info, along with the regular button to view Hero Details. For queued or questing Heroes, the relevant Profession Skill or Training Quest stat values will be displayed. Additionally, if the Hero has full XP and is not questing, a Level Up Hero button will bring you to the Meditation Circle modal with the Hero pre-selected.

Phew, that's quite the list! We're excited to see how all these changes improve the questing experience even more.

Duel Solo Resurrection
As mentioned in previous announcements and the AMA, we have resurrected the Solo Duel type with adjusted fees and rewards. Head to the Tavern to access this game mode in addition to Squad, Pack, and Warr. Lone wolf mode activate!

Purchased Visage Count
Now when you check in with Mr E to view your favorite visages, you'll be able to see how many have been purchased already. On a semi-related note, the currently live Big Red visage includes a total incentive of $15k worth of $TD that will be split amongst its purchasers after it expires in the shop. No one wants a bare head, so why not put on a bear head?

Hey again everyone , just wanted to drop a couple of updates about Duels. I'll be discussing these tomorrow more in the AMA as well.

After getting feedback from the players and brainstorming ideas, it was proposed to bring back 1v1 duels and also extend the class boosts to also encompass boosts from last season in addition to the ones for this season.

There were then numerous discussions with the team and in our Tokenomics committee, where we analyzed data from last season and discussed the pros and cons of the ideas put forth.

There were a couple of committee votes, one to add the old rotation into the current rotation, and another to bring back 1v1 duels at half the cost (and half the rewards) as before.

Both votes passed, and the dev work has been completed as well as of this morning. It's now in testing.

Assuming testing goes well, it's possible that this gets released as soon as end of this week, but it could also go into next week if needed.
