Building this website was part of doing things right from the ground up.
Now we have solid fundamentals to build on and a clear distinction between the CO Foundation and Corite.
And to be clear - this is not the product website - this website replaces corite.org - the new project website is still under construction and I can assure you it will be worth the wait, especially for OG holders
The website contains some hints as to what’s coming next - I want to hear your speculations and thoughts on the design!

Another personal update from my end while we wait for next steps to materialize!
I’ve currently got 5 different work streams going on and looking to bang them out one by one. Not easy to manage but we’re getting there day by day!
What’s going to come out next is the new CO Foundation website which is replacing corite.org - I’ve seen the design and I’m extremely satisfied with it, just have some minor fixes that need to be done before it can be shipped.
Don’t confuse this with what’s to come btw - you will definitely notice once new the first steps of the new product is live 🙂
Since brand building and development is taking some time I was thinking about setting up a Zealy campaign where the top 20 participants would get to see behind the scenes what’s coming on a private call with me. Is that something you’d be interested in?
Also time for an AMA very soon - at latest next week! I would ideally like to have the new Foundation website live first and then do the AMA. I’ll send out an announcement well ahead of time so don’t worry! Will make sure to record it this time 😅

Past few weeks have flown by and a lot of things are happening in the background. Thought I would share a quick personal update with you all!
The rebranding of the CO Foundation is in full swing and should be coming to a close within the next 10 days. We're also working on something new outside of the Foundation which will indicate the way forward.
When it comes to scouting advisors and building new partnerships I've been having a lot of meetings. Got one deal locked in (see image for clue) and another one very close to signing. On the advisor front I've been talking to a lot of talented people in marketing, design and community - very excited to start rolling this out once rebrand is complete. I'm not going to rush this one because we only want the best of the best on our advisory board.
Also very stoked about the ETH ETF approval odds going through the roof. Let me tell you if it gets approved you are in for an alt season like never before.

For some reason the Twitter space bugged and did not record as I had planned, so I decided to share a summary with you all going through the most important questions.
What is the difference between Corite and Project CO?
Project CO or the CO Foundation is the organization that issued the $CO token and governs everything that has to do with the $CO token.
Corite is a private company that builds tools, services and apps for artists and fans. The CO foundation commissioned Corite to build out the platform you all know as “Corite”.
There has been a lot of confusion regarding this due to naming (for example token name is Corite and this server's name is Corite). This is the main reason we’re rebranding Project CO because we’ll be able to create a clear separation between Project CO and Corite.
How long will it take to get the project on track?
Hard question to answer as “on track” is a matter of perspective, but my short answer is one month. Currently working on

All of these will be done within the month of May, then we start focusing on the bigger vision.
What is the roadmap for project CO?
I can’t share the exact specifics now as this will be one of the most important things to get right, but in broad strokes:
I’m building the voting platform so all $CO holders will be able to participate in community votes
We’re expanding the vision from only music to culture. This way we will be able to attract more projects to our platform such as art, fashion, gaming and memes. This will all be tied into a launchpad. And the best part, you’ll need $CO tokens to participate in launches which will create a very clear value driver for $CO.
What are the listing plans for bigger exchanges?
Within a year's time I want to have $CO on at least a few more high-tier exchanges such as MEXC and Kucoin. Ideally we also want to get the Binance listing done, but this is very hard to promise and depends a lot on how the market moves.

Today we have something monumental to announce.
The CO Foundation which governs and issues the $CO token will receive a new management board that will carry the torch forward.
From today onwards, I, Vincent Weckström, will be taking over the position as Director of the CO Foundation together with Henrik Hjelte, the Co-Founder of Chromia and ChromaWay.
My background is in business and finance, and I've been working full-time in crypto since early 2022. I have served as a consultant for the CO project for nearly a year now, gaining a clear understanding of both the challenges and opportunities associated with this new position. This insight comes from working closely with the founding team in person at the Stockholm office.
What does this mean for Corite and Project CO?
Corite the company, is still led by Mattias, Emil and Emelie and they are continuing working on Aflow in full speed, which has potential to be of great benefit to Project CO funneling in a new segment of artists into our community.
The CO Foundation will continue to develop applications that drive value to $CO holders and further investment into music and culture through tokenization.
We have laid out a 3-step strategy to start with, here’s a broad strokes overview of immediate actions:
- A rebrand of Project CO to create a more crypto-native brand identity and further cement ourselves as one of the top Web3 projects in entertainment.
- Expanding our partnership offering outside of music, while increasingly making our partnerships token-gated to drive value to the $CO token.
- Building up a new advisory board to guide us through this transition from an established brand in the music industry to a crypto-native entertainment hub.
A more detailed roadmap will be shared with you all soon as the rebrand goes live online.
I think CO has huge potential to become a leading community within Web3 entertainment and culture, and I am very excited about taking Project CO to a new level given the market tailwinds we’ve been getting over the past year.
Regarding exchange listings which I know many of you are wondering about, part of the larger roadmap is working up a respectable liquidity for the $CO token. This will be done in collaboration with market makers and top-tier exchanges - so while listings will not happen in the coming months, the year ahead will contain lots of work in this area. Since we are already listed on Bybit, listing on lower tier exchanges will do us no good, which is why we’re aiming high!

During the end of 2023 we kicked off a partnership with our friends over at MasterExchange. We have been in close contact with them during the beginning of 2024 and are happy to announce that we’ll be deepening our partnership throughout the year of 2024. This will of course mean many more great deals for the CO community!

New partnership launch(es)
Behind the scenes our business developers have been hard at work talking to several different potential partners for the CO foundation and the $CO token. During the year of 2024 we expect to announce a number of new partnerships that will heighten the utility of the CO token.
Progressive decentralization of project CO
This is a big one. During 2024 we’re teaming up with a layer 1 infrastructure partner to build out the CO DAO. The CO DAO will cement the CO community and our partners on-chain and bring active governance and shaping possibilities to our holder-base plus a lot of new, exciting deals. The CO DAO is the first on-chain initiative for promoting investing in music as an asset class. Stay tuned!
Artist support to grow community
A week ago Corite announced the upcoming launch of Aflow - a new AI-based service that helps artists and their teams get into a flow. Corite is currently collecting participants for their closed beta testing so if you have any artist friends, tell them to request an invite at: aflow.co/

Holiday season is here, the year is coming to an end, and we’re continuously making efforts to adapt to the market and its ups and downs.
And to sum it up, this year has been all about building. Let's take a look back at the year that has passed!
The year kicked off with BBC covering the success of how investing in an artist makes fans feel more involved in the songs. This was exemplified by fan Effie Sampson, who invested in one of Alan Walker's fan campaigns in 2022 via Corite.
The team then worked very hard to prepare the site for the drop of the Central Cee NFT campaign and to build out the existing Mission functionalities. During launch week, we conducted fifteen AMAs in NFT-based game communities, spaces with BNBchain, and with Grammy-awarded producer Rico Love, to name a few.
🎧 When the first payout from the Central Cee NFT campaign arrived from the four songs, we were delighted to share that the payout exceeded the projections. It represented 10% of the total money paid in the initial sale, with 10 years to go. The Central Cee campaign was also the first utilizing our new tech for blockchain-based royalty payments.
🌟 In spring, we were excited to share that our Co-founder Emelie Olsson was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
💲Then the much-anticipated launch of the Reward Shop took place, including requested rewards such as a raffle ticket for an Alan Walker merch kit and CO token packages still available.
📣 Recently, we announced a partnership with MasterExchange to offer our community top-tier opportunities to invest in music, starting with the hit “We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off”, followed by “Hunter” by Galantis offered by Hannah Wilson.

As you know $BUSD will no longer be supported by Binance from December 15th. In conjunction with this we will also pull liquidity from the $CO-$BUSD pair on PancakeSwap on December 13th at 10.00 CET.
In the meantime we have created and supplied the same amount of liquidity to a new $CO-$USDT pair on PancakeSwap so you will still be able to trade $CO in a decentralized manner. You can find the pair here: http://tinyurl.com/cousdt
Paxos, the issuer of $BUSD, has stated they will continue to support $BUSD at least up until February 2024. We advise you to keep a close eye on this situation and migrate over to other alternatives ahead of time.

So what have we been up to since the last update?

- Building out support for a new chain - this process has taken a bit longer than expected, but we’re still working hard on building out the technical foundation for supporting new chains in future campaigns.
- Working towards new partnerships - the Corite x MasterExchange partnership has been a huge success and we’re actively working towards new partnerships
