[the Mars] New MRST Tokenomics Update

The Mars Corp. prepared a new MRST tokenomics to enhance the deflationary modeling that is more straightforward to be understood by the market compared to the previous model.
In order for the new MRST issuance, a hard fork is in progress. The following dates are scheduled for snapshots and New MRST delivery for current MRST holders.

✔️ Snapshot: November 1, 12 am (KST), 2022
✔️ New MRST delivery: November 1 — 4, (KST), 2022

Here are some key takeaways about new rules:
1. Initial Distribution Amount:
- 10 billion → 5 billion: 50% reduction

2. Metaverse Distribution Amount:
- 40 billion → Infinite

Although the issuance volume has been changed to infinite,
the actual issuance has decreased by about 70%.

1) Based on max. DAU → 106 billion (70%) reduction
- 1st Year: 20 billion → 10 billion
- 2nd Year: 23 billion → 9 billion
- 3rd Year: 25 billion → 8 billion
- 4th Year: 27 billion → 7 billion
- 5th Year: 28 billion → 6 billion
- 6th Year: 28 billion → 5 billion
- Total: 151 billion → 45 billion

※ Previous maximum number of DAU varied from 10 million (1st year) to 50 million (5th year). Updated maximum number of DAU integrates to 20 million.

2) Based on 100 million DAU → 30.16 billion (71.1%) reduction
- 1st Year: 8.19 billion → 2.72 billion
- 2nd Year: 7.37 billion → 2.45 billion
- 3rd Year: 6.96 billion → 2.18 billion
- 4th Year: 6.81 billion → 1.91 billion
- 5th Year: 6.54 billion → 1.63 billion
- 6th Year: 6.54 billion → 1.36 billion
Total: 42.41 billion → 12.25 billion

Yesterday, we announced two methods to check if your Martian NFTs are safely in the staking.


However, If you want to unstake, both methods are insufficient to satisfy you. After checking with our dev team, we have determined the brizzi website is in normal operation. We speculate that the brizzi website has also been affected due to the recent Ethereum merge issue.


We tested internally again this morning, and the problem seems to have been resolved. However, if the problem still persists, please delete the cookies in your browser and press Ctrl + F5 to refresh the page.

After checking with our dev team, we have determined that the brizzi website is in normal operation. Also, confirmed that staking is in progress without any problem on the blockchain.

As we announced earlier, we will transfer to the user who hold 1000+ MRST and completed both 1. KYC authentication and 2. wallet connection before August 31.

For those who are qualified for 1st round KYC (2000+ MRST), will get whole amount from the Mining App, and for 2nd round KYC (1000+ MRST) will get half the amount, and with 1 MRST as transaction cost for both.

The withdrawal function will be updated late September, so for those who could not complete the process for transfer will be able to use in-app withdrawal function.

We have a few important notices regarding the first withdrawal process for MRST from the Mining App.

This time around, MRST will be transferred directly to your wallet. Entire amount for 1st round KYC participants (2,000 MRST+), and 50% for 2nd round KYC participants (1,000 MRST+). For example:

2874.234 MRST mined ⇒ 2874 MRST (100%) transferred
1200.200 MRST mined ⇒ 600 MRST (50%) transferred

For this process, we will be taking a snapshot on August 31, 2022 23:59 KST for the amount of MRST mined & connected wallet address.
Then, MRST will be transferred directly to your wallet before 9 Sept.

VERY IMPORTANT

Please make sure:

1️⃣ You have completed the KYC process (if eligible), AND
2️⃣ You have a wallet connected (MRST will be transferred to the wallet connected at the time of snapshot)

BOTH THESE MUST BE COMPLETE before the snapshot, otherwise MRST cannot be sent

⚠️ This process is applicable for the first withdrawal only! From October, you will be able to complete the withdrawal process by yourself.
⚠️ Please note this is separate from KYC for the upcoming pre-IEO sale.
