🟢⚠️ MINT distribution halted ⚠️🟢
We inform every member of the Public Mint Community that, from August 1st onwards, all MINT rewards will be paused.
As we assess how to continue moving the project forward, and without any new developments as of this moment, continuing the rewards program would only further dilute the circulating supply, resulting in a negative effect on the token’s valuation.
We believe it is in the best interest of the Community and the company to halt rewards for the time being, until we conclude on the next steps for Public Mint.

🟢 Message to the Public Mint Community 🟢
Fellow investors and believers, it’s been a tough ride this last year, with a significant number of events and partners failing that have had a huge impact on our operations.
First, Celsius collapsed, and even though it proved our approach by reducing our user’s losses in half, it was still a significant loss of the effort we had put in with that partner, plus all the additional efforts we took and continue to take in pursuit of those funds. Then, FTX collapsed, and although it didn’t affect us directly, it did affect the market as a whole and the risk appetite of other companies. Soon after, Circle closed our business account - we assume largely as part of their de-risking strategy - and still we adapted to build comparable functionality. And just now, Prime Trust collapsed, so we’re unable to take in fiat payments.
In the meantime, we’ve been looking for alternatives to continue funding Public Mint, which we’ve been self-funding for a few months now. Again, the market conditions have been averse to us making strides on that front.
Without the ability to take in fiat payments, the shadow of uncertainty cast over many potential partners for the Earn program and the market as a whole, it’s time we pause and reassess where our efforts are leading us.
For the moment we are pausing our Loyalty Program, as we see no benefit in continuing to increase its circulating supply. At the same time, we’re scaling back on development to focus on maintenance and security alone.
We will continue to search for a solution to move the project forward, and will continue to keep you posted!

Hello to all in the Public Mint Community.
We are fully aware that you’ve been waiting on news on several fronts for a while now, which can be very frustrating.
The whole FinTech industry has been in upheaval for a year now, to put it mildly. Public Mint has, however, been able to persevere, maintaining and updating its products and technologies so as to cope with many of the changes thrust upon us, albeit at the expense of speedy development and the regular roll-out of new features.
There are, however, open and ongoing discussions that may shape the future of Public Mint in several ways. We are not yet able to offer specific details, and there is no way to accurately predict a definitive time frame for these, but we expect Q2 to be a busy trimester, and we’ll continue to keep you all informed to the best of our ability.
In the meantime, feel free to ask all questions you may have on our Community channels, and the team will provide answers, as far as they are able to do so.

As a result of undergoing updates to Public Mint’s fiat integration, as well as our partner Prime Trust changing banks for all domestic wires, all deposits and withdrawals by wire and ACH will be disabled until further notice. Stablecoin deposits and withdrawals will remain fully functional.

The proposal was submitted on Oct 19, and was approved by the Community.

In light of recent events, in the best interest of the Public Mint Community and in accordance with the general feeling promoted across all Community channels, all EARN funds allocated to Abra will be withdrawn. A governance vote will be opened for the Community to decide on whether these funds should be reapplied to Abra or redirected to other yield generating partners. Public Mint will temporarily hold the funds, until the Community reaches a decision on how to apply them. #WAGMI

Distribution of the delayed Abra yield will go ahead over the next 48h, after both teams working together to permanently resolve a temporary integration issue. We thank all of the Public Mint Community for your patience and understanding.
🟢🛠️EARN yield distribution update🛠️🟢
Over the past two weeks, two different technical issues affected EARN's normal yield distribution - one relating to Abra and another pertaining to the 10% reward for MINT holders.
The development team is working closely with Abra, and these funds will be issued over the next weeks, as soon as a solution is found.
Regarding the MINT rewards, the problem was already fixed and the distribution will go ahead this week. In both cases, all users will receive the totality of their rightful yield.
