🗳️ Governance update 🗳️

Following the unanimous passing of Referendum 22, UNQ is set to be the next token listed on Polkadex Orderbook.

The UNQ/USDT pair is set to go live on Orderbook shortly after Unique's liquidity and market-making plans are finalised. Stay tuned for more updates on those!

Trading on Polkadex Orderbook is back online after a few hours of scheduled downtime and a successful runtime upgrade!

New to the backend:

💹 Now that Orderbook is back, what will your next trade be?

⚠️ Heads up traders ⚠️

Polkadex Orderbook and THEA will be temporarily unavailable during a scheduled downtime of 6-12 hours starting Wednesday May 22nd at 9am UTC.

During this time, LMP bug fixes as well as direct deposits & withdrawal functionality will be deployed to the backend 🛠️

Existing orders will be cancelled automatically during the maintenance window.

Polkadex Council x Core Contributors

🤝 Scope of Work 🤝

Since the passing of Treasury Proposal #47 last month, the Polkadex Core Contributors and Polkadex Council have been working more closely than ever before.

Throughout the last few weeks, the Council has assessed the existing Polkadex roadmap and, together with the Core Contributors, has defined the Scope of Work for the following months (Q2 and beyond).

In order to fulfil the goals set in the Scope of Work agreement, the Polkadex Core Contributors have set new priorities and have re-allocated internal resources accordingly.

Overall, the Council and the Core Contributors have decided on a path forward which includes a renewed commitment to the Polkadot ecosystem and onboarding new trading pairs, accelerating the transition into a DAO, and improving the reliability & user experience of Orderbook.

Referendum 21 aims to add a vDOT/DOT market pair to Polkadex Orderbook and is now up for voting!

✅ Vote 'Aye' if you want to trade vDOT, Bifrost's Liquid Staking DOT on the CEXier DEX!

💸 There's a new way to add funds to Orderbook!

Use cede.store to transfer PDEX from your CEX accounts to your Polkadex wallet in one click!

Thanks to the open source Orderbook frontend, the Cede Labs was able to integrate their CEX -> DeFi on-ramp in no time 🚀

You can also send DOT, ASTR, GLMR, PHA to your account on their respective native networks before transferring them to Polkadex via THEA 🙌

Even USDT AssetHub is supported!

A runtime upgrade was executed on Polkadex earlier this week ⛓

What's new?

💸 The ability to transfer non-sufficient assets like PINK & DED back to Asset Hub (with a 0.7 USDT requirement)

⚡️ The 1,000 block (~4 hour) delay on outgoing transfers has been reduced to 2 minutes

💹️️️️️️ Following the passing of Referendum #16, DED/USDT is now available on Polkadex Orderbook 🐦

While DED transfers have yet to be enabled by the DED foundation, Polkadex Orderbook awaits with open arms (AKA: mysterious buy orders) 👀️️️️️️

💹️️️️️️ Trade on Polkadex Orderbook 👈️️️️️️

The runtime upgrade and Orderbook downtime has been pushed up by an hour to Wednesday 4:30 AM UTC (from 5:30 AM UTC originally).

⚠️ Remember ⚠️
All existing orders will be automatically cancelled. Trading and order placement will be unavailable for the duration of the upgrade.

⚙️ A runtime upgrade is scheduled for Wednesday at 5:30am UTC followed by an Orderbook downtime of ~24 hours ⛔️

Part of the Hestia release, the upgrade features:
🔥 New Orderbook UI
💸 LMP Rewards component
🪙 Trading fees
🐛 Market-making bug fixes

Trading and order placement will be unavailable for the duration of the upgrade downtime, while existing orders will be automatically cancelled.

Orderbook will run like normal after the break, with the new UI, trading fees, and active LMP scoring in place.
