‼️ Detailed Description - On February 16, 2024, the FixedFloat cryptocurrency exchange was targeted by attackers, resulting in the theft of around $26.1 million in Bitcoin and Ethereum. The majority of the stolen funds were in Bitcoin, with the assets being dispersed across multiple addresses. On the Ethereum Mainnet, the stolen funds were moved to the eXch exchange via several transactions, and a minor amount was deposited into HitBTC. Further details about the breach have not been provided by FixedFloat.

❓Short Description - PlayDapp, a P2E game on Ethereum, faced two exploits due to compromised private keys, leading to the minting of 1.79 billion PLA tokens.

‼️ Detailed Description - Between Feb 9-12, 2024, PlayDapp suffered two exploits, rooted in the compromise of private keys. Before the exploits, a new minter was added, allowing the attacker to mint 1.79 billion PLA tokens, valued around $287,775,772. However, only $32 million was converted by the attacker, who transferred funds to various addresses, including the Polygon chain and Binance exchange. A significant amount remains in the scammer's address as of Feb 13, 2024. The attack was initially funded by FixedFloat, and a $1 million USD reward has been offered for the return of all stolen contracts and assets.

The incident occurred when an attacker used social engineering tactics to obtain the private key of a team member's deployer wallet. Utilizing this access, the attacker upgraded the vaults, minted new LP tokens, and drained the vaults of their assets. The exploit led to a substantial loss of around $1,654,517, equivalent to 715.7 WETH.

‼️ Detailed Description - On January 16, 2024, Socket Protocol, which facilitates data and asset transfers across chains, suffered a security breach. The exploit targeted Bungee, a bridge aggregator on SocketLL. The vulnerability allowed an attacker to steal funds from users who had granted token approvals to the compromised contracts. This incident affected about 712 users, with losses including 165,356 MATIC, 2.8896 WBTC, 42.4753 WETH, and 13,821 DAI, totaling approximately $3.3 million. The stolen funds remained in the attacker's address.
