'Wen MUON': NOW!
We are still getting questions about "wen Muon?" and wanted to provide clarification for everyone. (Charting the Journey from Pion to Muon article has been edited with the information shared in this announcement.)
Muon will launch when PION achieves 100,000 - 1,000,000 daily transactions on average.
Why this benchmark?
$MUON will launch once $PION reaches greater stability and usage, specifically an average of 100,000 - 1,000,000 daily transactions. This ensures network health and readiness. At an average transaction cost of 10 cents, this means $10,000 - $100,000 in daily revenue, indicating robust usage.
Impact on MUON Pre-sale Participants and PION Node Operators
This means that all the value of Muon Network and all the fees generated by the network will accrue in $PION tokens. Once the network reaches 1,000,000 daily transactions, the market cap of PION will be much higher than it is right now. As most of the members received bonPION for free at its launch, you can use this time to collect a significant PION holding by operating a node.
There is no point in waiting for MUON; once MUON launches, the value of PION might be manifold higher than the value of MUON.

In April and May, Muon deployed client libraries on zkSync, Base, and Blast, and integrated with Linea, Scroll, and XDC through DeRand.
In addition to these new chains, we implemented Falcon Signatures to increase security and improved the fee structure for more customization.
