2023년은 피르마체인이 유틸리테인먼트(Utility + Entertainment) 종합 플랫폼을 목표로 하여, 건강한 에코시스템의 활성화를 위한 기반을 구축하는 중요한 시기였습니다. 이렇게 다져진 기반 위에서, 2024년의 피르마체인은 ‘확장’을 새로운 목표로 삼고 더 큰 도약을 준비하고 있습니다.

■ 2024년 로드맵 일정
2023년은 코즘와즘 기반의 서비스 고도화 및 유틸리테인먼트 플랫폼 구축에 초석들 다진 한해였습니다. 2024년은 생태계 확장에 초점을 맞추고, 에코시스템 펀드 및 DApp을 통한 사용자 확보와 IBC 기반 외부 자산의 유동성 확보에 집중할 예정입니다. 이를 통해 COSMOS 및 IBC 기반 프로젝트들과의 협력을 강화하고, KOALA KNIGHT 출시 및 오픈소스 화를 추진하여, P2E/Game-Fi가 필요한 프로젝트들이 피르마체인에 손쉽게 온보딩하고, OSMOSIS와 CW20 기반의 유동성 스왑이 가능하게 될 것입니다.

The year 2023 was a pivotal year for FIRMACHAIN as we aimed to become a comprehensive utility + entertainment platform, laying the foundation for a thriving ecosystem. With this foundation in place, in 2024, FIRMACHAIN is preparing to take an even bigger leap forward with the new goal of “Expansion”.

We would like to share with you the R&D achievements that FIRMACHAIN has made over the past year, categorized into technology and external growth bases, and our future direction.

■ Overview of 2023
FIRMACHAIN has been concentrating on building the essential technical foundation to revitalize and expand the ecosystem. We have developed a variety of services that are necessary for both DApp developers and individual users, which we expect will reduce the technical burden on participants in the FIRMACHAIN ecosystem and improve accessibility and convenience. Let’s take a closer look at the technical accomplishments we made in 2023.

■ Roadmap for 2024
The year 2023 was dedicated to setting the groundwork for COSMOS-based service enhancement and developing a utility platform. In 2024, we will focus on expanding the ecosystem, acquiring users through ecosystem funds and DApps, and securing liquidity from external assets based on IBC. This will allow us to strengthen cooperation with COSMOS and IBC-based projects, launch and open-source KOALA KNIGHT, make it easier for projects requiring P2E/Game-Fi to onboard to FIRMACHAIN, and enable liquidity swaps based on OSMOSIS and CW20.

This is an announcement on the 2024~25 FCT(FCT2) unlock schedule and circulating supply.

All unlocking will end in January 2024. The final amount unlocked in January 2024 will be 41,226 FCT(FCT2).

We have previously mentioned on the circulating supply for 2023 that the aforementioned information was estimated based on the traits of the Colosseum mainnet consensus algorithm (subject to change depending on the inflation rate or governance policy decisions) and should by no means be interpreted as the final circulating supply. A detailed explanation of the inflation rate can be found in the link below, which we announced in 2022.

이번 행사에서는 콜로세움 메인넷 기반으로 동작하는 P2E (Play-to-Earn) 프로젝트 ‘코알라 나이츠’의 DEMO 버전을 선보였습니다. 이 게임은 피르마체인 에코시스템 파트너를 위한 DEMO TOOLKIT으로 게임 구성에 필요한 마켓플레이스, Game-FI, 인벤토리 등 다양한 구성요소를 제공할 예정입니다.

🗣 FirmaChain successfully took part in the DMTS 🔊

Showcasing the next-generation industries and the latest technology trends, FirmaChain captivated audiences at the Digital Media Tech Show (DMTS), held at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 from November 2 to 4, 2023. The company highlighted the potential of blockchain industries and unveiled its vision for Utility + Entertainment.
At the event, FirmaChain presented a DEMO version of its P2E (Play-to-Earn) project, ‘Koala Knights’, powered by the Colosseum Mainnet. The game will be available as a DEMO TOOLKIT for FirmaChain ecosystem partners, providing a comprehensive suite of components, including Marketplace, Game-FI, and Inventory, essential for game development.

Koala Knights is a WebGL based game built on the Unity engine, immersing players in a vibrant 2D action world with adorable dot graphics and an array of weapons. Event attendees were treated to an immersive P2E experience through a captivating 5–10 minute playthrough. Upon successfully completing the demo, participants were rewarded with a commemorative Koala Knights NFT, further enhancing their DMTS experience.

FirmaChain plans to apply CosmWasm-based smart contracts (game bridges, assets, DeFi, etc.) to further enhance the game, and plans to promote strategies to expand FirmaChain’s usability and ecosystem through the Koala Knights Hub, which will be released in 2024.
FirmaChain’s participation at the DMTS event proved particularly valuable as it exposed the Koala Knights project to a wider audience, including those unfamiliar with blockchain technology. By leveraging the familiar concept of gaming, FirmaChain effectively demonstrated the potential of blockchain to enhance Web 2.0 content and introduce new dimensions to the gaming experience.

An event hosted by the city of Goyang, DMTS is Korea’s 1st convergence convention of media content and top notch technology of the 4th industrial revolution, bringing solid companies and experts from many different fields. The fifth G.E.F is on 'Firma Connect’.

Currently FIRMACHAIN is updating the Firma Station to 2.0. One of the upgraded features include Firma Connect, which we will take a more detailed look into in this posting.

If you are logged into the Firma Station mobile application, Firma Connect allows you to integrate the FIRMACHAIN Wallet without having to use your mnemonic or private key. After the initial integration, you can conveniently use the service by generating a transaction through scanning the 🔲QR code.

Firma Connect securely and conveniently integrates FIRMACHAIN DApps and Firma Station by simply scanning a QR code on the Firma Station mobile application.

API for the Firma Connect will also be supported by the FrimaChain team to enhance its usability.
