Introducing the all new Origin 🥁

OGN and OGV have officially merged! The migration portal is now live to convert your OGV to OGN on the brand new Origin dapp. We’ve also overhauled our marketing site to reflect Origin’s updated product suite 💻

Make sure to explore the new dapp, which allows you to access all of Origin’s products seamlessly from a single platform!

As a reminder, OGV holdings are converted to OGN at a flat rate of 0.09137 OGN per OGV. While the migration portal will remain open until May 28, 2025, OGV holders must convert to xOGN to continue earning staking rewards.

The proposal introduces xOGN, new staking mechanics, and fresh value accrual mechanisms for Origin stakers.

A token merger is happening! OGV stakers voted to accept the OGN-OGV merger. 🛫

Following a security audit scheduled for the week of May 13th, OGV will be eligible to be converted to OGN at a rate of 0.09137 OGN per OGV (a 25% premium from current prices).

Instant, 1:1 redemptions for stETH<>ETH are now possible through Origin’s Automated Redemptions Manager. Integrated with 1inch and CoWSwap, OETH and other LSTs/LRTs will launch soon.

Well over $100M in volume has been routed through the ARM already, despite zero marketing and no frontend. All revenue from the Automated Redemption Manager will be directed to OGN,

We're Bringing OETH to Arbitrum! 💙 🧡

Origin Ether is going live on Arbitrum via Chainlink's CCIP, an industry standard for secure cross chain bridging. Several new L2 DeFi integrations are in the works, which will be revealed as we approach our official launch.

Beyond new integrations, OETH will be able to tap into a new user base and leverage new incentive mechanisms.

By the way, we aren't stopping at Arbitrum. It's officially Layer 2 Season at Origin 💪🏼
