GM, we're excited to share a progress report on some key developments brewing on the Comdex Chain!
This is the first in a series of ongoing updates to keep you informed about our latest efforts 🧵👇🏻
🏗 Development of gas abstraction module is underway, it would allow abstracting gas fees for users, automatically escrowing these fees to the relevant dApp to cover transaction costs which would offer an unmatched UX experience on the chain
⚡️Preparation for our next SDK and mainnet upgrade which integrates @SkipProtocol's MEV infrastructure, preventing frontrunning and guaranteeing fair transactions
🔥We're actively developing the transaction fee burn mechanism highlighted in the forum, this will allow to burn 50% of transaction fees and distribute the rest to CMDX stakers
🚢 Shipping is underway for the ShipFi core contracts and module, with a focus on developing the NFT invoicing contract

Comdex Upgrade v13.2.0
Comdex will be undergoing a pivotal upgrade in the coming few weeks. This upgrade has been being worked on for several months and will be one of the major upgrades since the genesis of the chain.
After the planned v13.2.0 upgrade, Comdex aims to transition itself to a fully permissionless Cosmwasm chain.
Another major change in v13 is the significant reduction of block times to below ~3 seconds.
Moreover, v13 will introduce a suite of additional features and enhancements, including:
- Upgrade from CosmosSDK v0.45 → v0.47
- Upgrade IBC-go v4 → v7
- Wasmd v0.30 → v0.41
- CosmWasm 1.3
- ~3 second block times
- Enable the ICQ module
- Single unified auctions across dAPPs
