We're touching base to provide an update on Samurai Legends. Our team is exploring all avenues to resume development of the game. This includes ongoing talks with potential investors who might be able to fund the completion of the game. Additionally, we're considering the option of finding a suitable buyer of the ecosystem who believe in the Samurai Legends vision.
To expedite this process, anyone who can introduce us to an investor or buyer, resulting in an investment or purchase, will be awarded a grant equivalent to 10% of the transaction value. For potential leads or further details on this initiative, please reach out directly to:

Dear Community,
We regret to inform you that due to the prevailing funding uncertainty, we are unable to continue the development of Samurai Legends. We understand the gravity of this announcement and wanted to provide you with a comprehensive overview of the situation.
Over the past year, we have explored every avenue to secure the necessary funding to sustain the project. Regardless of the ongoing uncertainty in the funding landscape, we received the commitment of a key investor. However, after months of formalizing the deal, the investor was unable to commit, leading to this unfortunate turn of events and abruptly having to cancel our August 30th PvP open beta game launch.
Regrettably, we are left with no choice but to put the project into a state of hibernation. Until further funding is secured, all aspects of development, marketing, and our services will come to a halt.
It's important to highlight that our team has tirelessly worked on the project for the past six months without any salary. We explored various alternatives, put in our best efforts, and remained committed to bringing Samurai Legends to life.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. Your belief in our vision has been a driving force, and we sincerely hope that this adventure can be kickstarted again in the future.
Over the next week the following will happen:
1. The website and all other Samurai Legends services will be deactivated after 7 days.
2. The online availability of NFT metadata will cease after 7 days; however, the data will be securely stored offline for potential future use.
3. To accommodate staking withdrawal, we have lowered the withdrawal delay to 0.
4. When the website is offline, smg tokens can still be unstaked through bscscan (see guide here)
5. The Telegram chat will be muted within the next 24 hours.
For the benefit of holders, we might look for new owners of the project to make it a success. This to ensure continuity and to increase value.
We understand that this news is disappointing and disheartening. We share in your disappointment and want to assure you that this decision was not taken lightly. Our intention is to regroup, refocus, and hopefully return with renewed energy and resources to continue our shared vision for Samurai Legends.
