How to Navigate โIncorrect OTPโ issue while using 2FA
Are you repeatedly seeing โIncorrect or expired OTPโ error message when you enter the OTP from your authenticator app into CropBytes?
This may happen in 2 cases:
1. The time on your authenticator app is not in sync with the time on your device. Hereโs how you can ensure you have the correct time on your authenticator app.
Android
โข Open the authentication app & tap on Menu.
โข Tap on Settings.
โข Tap on Time correction for codes.
โข Tap on Sync now.
IOS
โข Open the iPhone Settings app.
โข Tap on General.
โข Tap on Date & Time.
โข Enable Set Automatically. If itโs already enabled, disable it, wait a few seconds and re-enable.
2. You have disabled 2FA on CropBytes and are re-enabling it again.
โข Remove the existing CropBytes key synced with your 2AF Authenticator app
โข Add a new Key by scanning the QR or copying the key displayed on the 2FA screen
