OpenMarket V1 beta testing
The wait has been long but it is finally coming along. OpenMarket v1 will be available for community testing this coming week. We will invite a pre-selected group of strong holders who have verified their OPT holding as part of the initial beta testers.

We hear the community's request for more updates. Regular bi-weekly development updates will now continue again along with a monthly progress report on other aspects that can be publicly shared.

Continuing promotional activities
Despite market conditions, our marketing and promotional activities will restart again as we approach the imminent launch of OpenMarket and stage 1 of our secret sauce (see below). Week 3 Predict & Win event will restart in the next few days.

Ambassadors
Those who have been supporting us with their expertise and connections in a positive manner throughout our development phases will be invited to join our Ambassador program. We will provide more details as to the benefit of being our Ambassador in an upcoming announcement. Your inputs have not gone unnoticed.

Previously, we mentioned about our secret sauce that will give us a competitive advantage over our competitors. As we approach our maiden product launch, we will gradually reveal a part of our grand ecosystem design over the course of this month while we finalize preparation to publicly announce it. 💥 Expanding our Liquidity Mining Program 💥

As we approach the launch of OpenMarket which is currently in closed beta testing, we are now expanding our liquidity mining program.

OPT LPs will start enjoying a significant boost! The new program will exclusively reward OPT-USDC Liquidity Providers on Uniswap from approximately 30% in the past to a new fixed rate of 120% APR.

Rewards will typically be distributed every 2 weeks directly to Liquidity Providers' wallets.

Expanding Our Staking Reward Campaign

Our first staking campaign which concluded on March 11 has now been extended and expanded. Stake your OPT tokens to our staking contract here and receive staking rewards with the following details:

🔹 Starting from March 12 to September 12, 2021.
🔹 A maximum of 100,000 total OPT tokens can be staked.
🔹 39% APR minimum - more if the 100k quota limit is not reached.

Current stakers do not need to do anything as they will be auto-migrated to the new staking contract. All rewards for existing stakers have also been distributed.

#OpenMarket is coming!

The wait is almost over. We are EXCITED to announce that on April 15th, a small group of pre-selected community members will finally be able to test drive our flagship product.

This round will have a maximum of 12 beta testers including our launch partners. Upon its conclusion, we will open the next round to invite everyone else who is whitelisted to try out OpenMarket.

UPDATE ON TEAM & ADVISOR TOKENS

To show our commitment to the long term success of OpenPredict, we have extended the lockup of the team and advisor tokens 💪

The first unlock of the advisor tokens on Feb 21 this year will now be re-locked until Feb 21, 2022 in six equal monthly vesting. To date, none of the tokens has been claimed yet.

The first unlock of the team tokens, scheduled for Aug 21 this year, will be pushed until Jan 21, 2022 in twelve equal monthly vesting.

The wallets will be made public once we complete the implementation of new key management protocol.

Based on positive community feedback on the liquidity shift from Balancer to Uniswap, we will move more liquidity to Uniswap in order to support larger buys on 1 platform without too much slippage. This move is expected to enable larger market trades.

We expect net liquidity to reach $600,000 on Uniswap, which is about 10% of the project's market cap.

Community members can continue to provide liquidity on Balancer to earn the BAL airdrop, but as of now, the LP fees on Uniswap exceed the BAL airdrop. The non-inflationary LP reward system will continue to support both Uniswap and Balancer liquidity providers.

We have been quietly working on our second product which will be a significant expansion from the TrustPredict P2P model, allowing anyone to speculate on virtually anything, combined with an intuitive UI that is designed to promote social interactions and a built-in AMM all under one roof.
