Dear DAPS Community,
It is with great pleasure we present to you the update to fix the chain.
Things took a bit longer than expected with our small network (think Three Musketeers running the network outside of everyone) and a few issues that we ran into.

Changes include:
- Checkpointing of the forked blocks (1433579/1433580)
- PoA block used to create 1B DAPS - block 1433830 (also checkpointed) Viewable here
- Update GitHub Actions workflow to include version numbers
- Addition of the ability to turn On/Off Auto Consolidation via .conf file and set an AutoCombineTarget (default: 13500 = 540 x 25, which is the minimum amount of UTXOs for creating a sweeping transaction)
- Bump Version to 1.1.1.1
- Bump Protocol to 70915 (with all previous ones blocked)
- Bump Copyright years to 2022

DAPS Community,
As you all know the DAPS blockchain has crashed earlier this week and has been a bit of a struggle to get restored. From what we have discovered was that there was a fork some blocks back and not all nodes were agreeing on the same chain. This led to eventually losing all the Masternodes and Stakers and has been quite difficult to workaround as the DAPS chain always requires at least one of each. We reached out to the devs of the PRCY Coin team to help us, despite the previous history and they have offered a fix.
What's next? The DAPS chain has been repaired by the PRCY Coin developers and a Dev fund has been created for the DAPS DAO. We now have a Dev Fund of 500 million DAPS. We have also paid 500 million DAPS to the PRCY team for the work performed.
PRCY has indicated that it will not sell the DAPS for the time being, given the price, and will also be able to demonstrate this by displaying the wallet. Openness is key at PRCY and so that remains with this deal. All withdrawals and deposits in all exchanges have been temporarily halted for DAPScoin and will resume once the chain is up and running.
As a DAO team, we would like to request you to stop calling them Copy / Paste boys, and/or making unfounded accusations. They, especially Jan and Victor, tried to save DAPS - as you know huge amounts were donated by these gentlemen during that time. When it turned out that this was an impossible task, it was decided to fork DAPS and go their own way.
PRCY has now continued on their own development path and we will do the same. With the addition of a Dev Fund, we can actually look to rebuild and find developers. This is the final extent of the work with PRCY.

@everyone due to circumstances beyond our control the DAPS DAO has deemed it necessary to have 50 DAPScoin per block sent to our Treasury wallet for funding of future developments for DAPS! The development team at Electra Protocol has graciously donated their time to help us achieve this hard fork so many thanks to them for all of their efforts!!! Please keep in mind this is a mandatory wallet update so if you have DAPScoin you will have approximately 13 days from now to complete. This will happen at block 1 180 000. If you don’t update by this block you will be running on the wrong chain so all pos and pow coins collected after that block will be worthless as all exchanges will be running with the new wallets. After reading the backlash in this server since the “announcement” the DAO believes some ground rules need to be set in the main tg. Our first move will be to remove all bans in the main, that being said we need to get this room back to a professional level. As of right now the main telegram will be a non hostile zero tolerance environment! If you can’t handle yourselves in a professional and respectful manor you will be muted for an undetermined amount of time (it will vary from case to case). There has been an unacceptable amount of abuse in the main telegram which has lead to the loss of our most important team member. If you want a place to complain about the past take it elsewhere as we will not tolerate the attitude any more. We now have the opportunity to build this project up into the crypto it was always meant to be so it’s time to start moving forward with integrity, intention and purpose. If you have a question that may be bordering on negative feel free to send the question in a direct message to any of the DAO members. We as a community need to look forward to the future and not dwell on the past. The handover to DAO is complete and has been since mid July starting with the handover of vital properties first like the server accounts, the last item which was the main DAPS TG channel was completed yesterday, and we ask that you please refrain from making assumptions or making false claims about this process please. Dean and NoNo own all DAPS related properties from the Github to the servers to all the social media accounts and more. We anticipated that many more of you would join the DAO and assist in building forward as a community like you always wanted, but it seems unfortunately some would like to focus on being negative and doing nothing, instead of joining in and helping and moving forward. We hope to see this change soon as many more hands are needed on the project to be able to function and grow.
